The owner of Benchmark, Wendy Johnson, housed fire evacuees and their animals from the Bonny Dunes area for over 5 weeks. Wendy helped at the Santa Cruz Horseman’s Association during the evacuation of the animals and saw firsthand the devastation the fire caused.
