We are thrilled to announce that Benchmark Environmental has been officially accredited by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide Renovation, Repair, and Painting training. This accreditation authorizes us to offer the Renovator Initial and Refresher courses in English.
This significant endorsement is in line with the EPA’s 40 CFR Part 745 Subpart E. It is applicable across all States, Territories, and Indian Tribes that currently lack an authorized Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program.
Key Highlights
Our accreditation remains valid until October 13, 2027. However, should any State, Territory, or Indian Tribe gain program authorization during our accreditation term, our status will not apply in the newly authorized areas.
In alignment with EPA guidelines, we commit to:
- Notify the EPA both before and after the completion of any training. This can be achieved electronically via the Agency’s Central Data Exchange (CDX).
- Maintain focus on training for certification in Renovation, Repair, and Painting activities under Section 402 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
- Clearly indicate in promotional materials that our courses are approved under Section 402 of TSCA.
- Regularly update our training materials to ensure alignment with the most recent EPA-recommended model.
We are aware that EPA accreditation does not override individual State, Territory, or Indian Tribe accreditation programs. Each jurisdiction reserves the right to accept or reject any accreditation at its discretion.
The EPA holds the authority to conduct audits or inspections to ensure we remain compliant with their standards. Non-compliance or deviations could result in the suspension or withdrawal of our accreditation.
We are deeply grateful for this accreditation and the opportunity to contribute to a greener and safer environment. Our team is eager to deliver world-class training aligning with EPA’s high standards.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in Benchmark Environmental. Together, we move towards a brighter, lead-free future.
